University of Washington shooting

Possibly a murder-suicide at the architecture department.

By Chuck Taylor

April 02, 2007.

Two people were shot and killed at Gould Hall at the University of Washington in Seattle this morning shortly after 9. The Seatttle Post-Intelligencer and The Seattle Times have stories. Seattle TV stations are all over it, of course, including NorthWest Cable News.

UW police say the male and female victims were found in a fourth floor office of the building, which houses the architecture department, and that it might be a murder-suicide. One of the victims might have been a staff member.

UPDATE: The P-I and Times stories linked above now have quite a bit of detail about the victim, the alleged shooter, and a restraining order.
