I will be road-tripping through the "Great Nearby" and beyond for the next couple of weeks, gathering little moss and looking for cheaper gas. I plan to file a few stories from the road. I expect you to have Seattle whipped into shape by the time I get back. And that means you, Piper, Stuka, and the rest of the gang.

Knute Berger is Mossback, Crosscut's chief Northwest native. He also writes the monthly Grey Matters column for Seattle magazine and is a weekly Friday guest on Weekday on KUOW-FM (94.9).
