an upper in a downer world: How refreshing to read a story that shows there is hope in our world -- well reported by Hartnett -- as usual. Dave Dahl is so real, so open, and so successful. Politicians and other blowhards should take a good look and revise themselves on his model. His first day at Portland's biggest Farmers Market was a shaky start in an unknown world. It was his openess and willingness to learn, stumble, try harder that got him where he is today.
The close-up photo shows him -- as he is, no cosmetic touch-ups -- real -- . He, the photo and the story are FINE.
