Midday Scan: Washington's surprising gun-toting frenzy

Lastly, it's difficult not to love former Idaho Gov. Cecil Andrus. Andrus, along with Washington's Dan Evans, was one the twentieth century's most accomplished governors. In Seattle to campaign for Democrat Jay Inslee, Andrus provided the folksy money quote of the month (as reported by the Seattlepi.com's Joel Connelly.) "Tell your neighbors: 'Take a look at that Inslee. He’s not all bad.'"
