The article strikes me as a white propaganda-ish attempt to rewrite history. An attempt to turn what was very much a Democratic win and a Republican loss into a Republican loss do to circumstances beyond anyone's control. Sorry, you don't get a 6.5% win from a bad economy turning worse. ...
