Green Acre Radio: How Wal-Mart got religion on sustainability

Posted Mon, Jun 6, 1:15 a.m.

Nice greenwashing piece. You are right on the mark. I've lived here for three and a half years. I've also lived in Portland, Vancouver BC, Chicago, Western Mass, S Illinois, and born in Missouri ... Portland has a very different feel - much easier to meet people. I think this might be related ...

In the garden: guerillas

Yay for you: I've been meaning to pick this up since I saw a piece about it in the NYT Magazine. I'm looking forward to checking out the local links via the comments here. P.S. I think Detroit is the old Seattle. A working-class cultural capitol. I dream of it.
