The name-calling might be entertaining to people like coolpapa and the blogging high-fivers, but it doesn't help our schools and it doesn't help our kids. In fact, the name calling and the adults amazing inability to act like adults or even just say something nice sets a very bad example ...

Absolutely agree with everything Ms. Carr said. But, I think that the volatility of the Seattle education community and people's knee-jerk reactivity is also hurting Seattle schools.
