A novel idea for hooking the reluctant soccer fan

I enjoy watching soccer because it is intuitive, without being over simplified like distance or race sports (rowing, track, etc.) Soccer, basketball, hockey (capture the flag)- all very intuitive to the untrained eye. Humor: I think that whichever candidate occupies the White House next, a sense of humor is vital to running this country. At this point, if you can't laugh some of it off, it's too depressing and pessimistic.

prison experiment: I think Zimbardo's prison experiment exemplifies the police mentality of power abuse in this particular situation. The fear of losing power and control leads to violence and abuse of it. Too bad we can't turn the tables like in the experiment.
