Thanks andy. Those are the stats I just looked up, though I found data from a different time period: Highway vehicles 0.89 Regional ("commuter") rail 0.03 Rail rapid transit 0.47 Light rail transit 0.23 Bus 0.07 All in all, I'd rather be on a train than in a car.

I'd actually prefer to see it return to its original location, just because that looks so much more like a newspaper building, which it is! But I'm happy to know that it will be cared for and remain part of the city.

The people throwing flares, rebar, etc deserve to be arrested. So do police who overreact to peaceful protest.

@BlueLight, I'll admit John's language is a bit over the top, but so is yours. It's hardly disrespectful for a man of peace to describe what sounds like a harrowing experience as he experienced it. I hope he does "swear a complaint."
