Merritt Scott (Rusty) Miller (aka Mick McGuire) is a veteran Pacific Northwest photojournalist, newspaper and magazine editor, fiction and feature writer. Born in Victoria, British Columbia and raised in Northern California, he moved to King County in 1990 and now lives in Seattle's University District, where he is currently ghost-writing a book, marketing a novel, looking for other projects and publishing a weekly blog, The Northstar Journal, which reaches readers in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and France.
