Don't give me this garbage.: Darnell Coles, don't give me this garbage about sound transit. Here's a paragraph from an article entitled "Proposition 1: How much will it really cost?" by Gregory Roberts at the PI: "After the 1996 vote, Sound Transit estimated that it could build a light rail ...

climate change propaganda: I for one am SICK AND TIRED of climate change propaganda, and the person who heads it in Seattle, Greg Nickels. 8,000 years ago the Bering Straight land bridge was drowned and stopped migration. 8,000 YEARS AGO Since the end of the Ice Age, earths temps have ...

Nickels Seriously Challenged: "City Councilmembers Tom Rasmussen and Richard Conlin and ex-Councilmember Peter Steinbrueck." All of these people would be establishment candidates. Not a one of them would be able to compete with me if they were to run. I actually hope Steinbrueck runs. Two establishment candidates are better than ...

report deceptively mild: Said in article: "The report is deceptively mild" And Brewster, your journalism is deceptively unjournalistic.

journalistic judgment: "A newspaper in the sense that it is run by experienced editors exercising journalistic (not ideological) judgment." You might want to consider staying true to your word, Brewster, by not assuming who's going to win the 2009 mayoral election before election season has yet to begin, as you ...

David Wolbeck & Greg Nickels: "the mayor seems breezing to reelection" And how would you know that, just because he's the big money man? You assume money can buy every election? Or are you just a closet supporter of Greg? The election season hasn't even started yet and you assume ...

appeasement: You wouldn't have to try to appease any particular special-interest group to get a 'yes' vote if you were able to reach the general population and earn their trust. That's the problem with politicians, they can't reach the general population because they pander to special interests, and they can't ...

dispelling myths: "Shaky assumption: An Alaskan Way Viaduct myth is dispelled" Why has the mayor perpetrated this assumption for years? Maybe you can ask the mayor about that on the next Ask The Mayor, CR. What other myths might the mayor be perpetrating? Any global-warming myths? Lots of myths about ...

Viaduct: "Why am I just learning that the Viaduct is on fairly solid footing?" Because the mayor you "interview" every month is a bold faced liar, that's why.

It's a classic: I like the look of that Denny's. I think it looks classic and historic and has a nice character to it.

Mr. Waller misses a huge chunk of reality: Maybe he's not a global-warming fundamentalist, maybe that's why he didn't mention CO2. There's christian fundamentalism and then there's global-warming fundamentalism. I don't know which is worse. I find them both equally repugnant.

lock out smock out: I'm a serious challenger, and Greg Nickels isn't locking me out with his money. The rule is that big money wins, but a strong populist can be an exception to the rule. I see Nickels as easily beatable. On principle, I may decide to not accept ...
