Totally agree with alally. What made me cringe was all of the distancing the White House and Dems did...when it was obvious what Hilary Rosen meant. First, the "big deal" reaction surprised me and secondly it played right in to the "outrage" of the far right and the Romney campaign, ...

Thanks for this review of Cinderella..I am taking my grandsons to see this show and have been looking forward to it! Now I am really excited to see it and to take them.

I have lived in Ballard since 1986. I have not seen "pockets of development", rather I live in one of the corridors of large scale multifamily housing that has recently assailed this area. These huge developments take away from the nature/culture of the community. They cause endless traffic problems in ...

Casey ruined many lives along with getting away with murder. I too felt very saddened by this result...it has to do with lack of fairness and obvious indifference to truth, as well as the death of a vulnerable child. I believe you are right about the many things in society ...

I like the music, like the play.....have not seen this production. I think that the author is overreacting to what most people do not see. Most of the theater goers are there for the entertainment and do not read as much into what they are seeing as all of the ...

I liked his work...interesting and mind opening. Brilliant and dazzling, yet simple. It was also fun.

I think the "plan that wasn't" would have kept the post-fair grounds much more relevant over the years. Canlis is a "landmark", the center not so.

I can only hope that Mr Van Dyk is correct in assessing the chances of either Palin or Huckabee running for the presidency in 2012. It would be agony to have to listen to either of these "fox commentators" through the entire election cycle for 2012. It, of course, would ...

What a lovely story...a man returns to his passion, his life. His gift to himself was his return to what he loves; his gift to others is playing/sharing his uplifting music in unconventional "venues". Nice.

I saw this opera yesterday and was totally mesmerized by it!! It draws you in and you feel transported into each scene by the story line and the music. I want to see it again...loved the music, loved the story, loved the set. There was humor that kept the audience ...
