That parcel was sold to a developer in 1995. At the time the bus station, which continued to operate there under a lease, was going to move a couple of blocks toward Lake Union. Obviously never happened.

Electric cars are great. Using taxpayer money to build charging stations isn't (yes, that's how it's being done). Sadly, this is another example of how us 99% are paying for the profits of the 1%.

I think you're (collectively) missing the point. The show was on prohibition. Prohibition banned alcohol. The show was about alcohol. I watched it. I didn't think "oh, this is wrong because there isn't a mention of drugs that would become popular in 60 years."

This is all so nice in theory. But it flies in the face of all that greater density advocates say. Unless somehow all people live in urban settings like capital hill and the rest of the country is allowed to go fallow.

Mr. Valdez seems to be an elitest that knows whats best for everyone. However, in America, we have what is called Democracy ( what the Democratic party is named for). In Democracy, each person gets to vote for themselves. Apparently Mr. Valdez does not like that.

What I find irratating is that McSchwinn's budget increase's to $13 million his project to improve bicycling access. While I understand and applaud the use of bicycles, shortchanging children to do this is more evidence that his ideals have nothing to do with citizens. Only with his own agenda.
