I work in the residential architecture and construction fields and enjoy healthy does of live music, art and subculture around town.
The Central Area, Pike/Pine, Ballard, Greenwood, Fremont, and Pioneer Square are where I have lived my times here in the Emerald City.

Put the Chihuly museum at the Seattle Center - or the waterfront. But since the waterfront location is not what's being served up here, let's drop it. The Seattle Center is a huge tourist draw, and I don't feel it needs to be a locals hangout to be a vital ...

I don't think KEXP would be a good fit at all in the Seattle Center - the music they play is actually quite a narrow slice of the entire musical spectrum, though it is made up of a lot of the indie and alt rock stuff that made Seattle famous ...
