Interesting point of view on this one. But I would have to say, as Pascal said, "The more I see of man the more I love my dog."

Kent makes some good points. In a recent issue of Forbes magazine the writer points out the public pensions paid out by many municipalities that have exacerbated their deficits. These deals were struck with unions by politicians with good intent but poor fiscal vision. And I don't blame the unions ...
