I essentially agree with the reviewer. The production was flat and very one dimensional. No juice and no fire. The choreography, ballet-flamenco, was ludicrous and for the most part uninspired (but the dancers were great). Carmen, like Violetta in La Traviata, must grab the listener by the throat and not ...

I attended the Sat. Aug 7 performance....Clifton Forbis was indisposed, Tristan was sung by Adam Klein. Klein was completely overpowered by Perrsen in Act 2 but redeemed himself in Act 3.
