The tunnel will be tolled. Therefore the traffic will be on the surface streets. Improve the south of downtown sea/truck access and disallow northbound trucking on 99.

Why did Comcast drop the CBC ( channel 99 ) coverage? I never watch NBC when CBC is available.

The seawall will be done a section at a time. It already has a design. The money should come from the state, not Seattle.

Why are all the other council members so silent? Greg Nickels is bad for the city in every way. I especially dislike his attitudes with the national mayors council.Whining that cities are last in line. The hierarchy has always been federal > state > county > city. And taking "credit" ...

Other than closing schools what has Maria offered? Some ideas - Use the ITBS instead of the WASL test. - Fund preparation/management time for the teachers instead of having so many teacher days off. -Close the school district television production department.
