Bio:
Born and Rain on in Aberdeen, WA back in the day when a trip to seattle was a 2 day affair at the minimum in the 40's and 50's. In retrospect it was like a trip to Mars or the dark side of the Moon. Aberdeen (mudville) and Grays Harbor in general was so Isolated in those days that our couple of annual trips to the big city was an adventure.
I always get the urge to spew when people complain about rain in Seattle. You don't know rain until you've lived in Grays Harbor county, 89 to 110 annually. Take that Seattle.
