Paula Boggs is a musician, lawyer, public speaker and philanthropist.
Boggs led the global law department of Starbucks Coffee Company
for 10 years and was secretary of Starbucks Foundation. She sits on
the boards of Avid Technology, Inc., Seattle Symphony, KEXP, Johns Hopkins University Peabody Institute Advisory Board and the American Bar Association.
Boggs has had leadership roles at the Pentagon, the White House, as a
federal prosecutor, adjunct law professor and in private practice. She
also serves in the American Bar Association’s (ABA) House of
Delegates. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including from the
Pentagon, ABA, Johns Hopkins and WNBA and is a voting member of
the Recording Academy ("The Grammys" ©) and an Army Airborne
veteran. President Obama named her to the White House Council for
Community Solutions and she sat on the President’s Committee on
the Arts and the Humanities.
The "Seattle-Brewed Soulgrass" Paula Boggs Band releases its third
studio album, “Elixir – The Soulgrass Sessions,” in 2017.
