Condo conversion: the Space Needle

Paul Allen buys and moves a Seattle landmark.

Microsoft co-founder and billionaire Paul Allen has finished the relocation and renovation of his high-rise home near downtown by topping it with the iconic Space Needle. For many, it was a sad day to see the city's once mighty symbol purchased and moved from its original location at Seattle Center. Asked if he was trying to show off his wealth, the usually soft spoken Allen replied, "Well, duh." Back to you in the newsroom.
