Interested candidates should send their cover letter and resume to job.search@crosscut.com. No calls, please.
A conplete job description is available here [PDF link].
INTERNSHIPS
We are a start-up non-profit with a great team, flexible workplace, and significant contacts in the community. We’d like to add some interns to contribute to Crosscut’s growing success.
WRITE FOR CROSSCUT
Crosscut seeks an intern for 6-12 months with college degree and a passion for journalism and good writing. Lots of opportunity to keep the site updated, build offerings, work with experienced editors and writers, and to develop a nonprofit, independent, community-driven source of news in Seattle and the Northwest. Applicants should have wide range of interests, broad curiosity, excellent writing and editing skills, and some journalism experience. Ambitious self-starters are particularly welcome. Position is unpaid and part-time, but you will be encouraged to write as part of regular duties and as a paid freelancer. Successful interns can advance to staff positions. Please send resume and some writing samples to job.search@crosscut.com
