Here are the initial results for the Washington state ballot measures.

Initiative 985, Tim Eyman's "traffic congestion relief" measure:

Yes: 39.71 percent No: 60.29 percent

Initiative 1000, the assisted suicide measure:

Yes: 56.56 percent No: 43.44 percent

Initiative 1029, which would require better training for long term health care workers:

Yes: 74.55 percent No: 24.45 percent
