There'll be tailgate picnics aplenty this weekend, with menus more exhilarating than the sandwiches and pop that a group of United States Postal Service employees devoured in Seattle’s Roosevelt neighborhood on Friday (Dec. 3). Ten letter carriers lounged beside a line of ten postal-service vehicles parked next to Cowen Park, enjoying  their Friday lunch break and a few laughs in the December sunshine.

A congenial half-hour in the middle of what must often feel like a lonesome daily slog! For privacy reasons their happy faces are not shown in this CrosscutChannel video:
