Youth, smarts and (wait a minute) who's teaching whom? Introducing Crosscut's interns.

Crosscut has a long history of supporting journalism education and training through an internship program that attracts students from all over.

Zachariah Bryan was with us as an intern and went on to become a lead reporter and web editor for the Ballard News-Tribune. Quin Benzel is now a writer with Puget Sound Energy. Erik Neumann is currently working on a graduate degree in journalism at UC-Berkeley. And Alison Sargent was just accepted into a graduate-level journalism program in Paris.

Our latest crop of interns brings youth, intelligence, energy and very often a better way of getting things done. I'm not sure sometimes who's training whom.

Meet the interns...
