Emily C. Skaftun is a fiction writer, newspaper editor, and recreational derby girl. She is the former Editor-in-Chief of The Norwegian American, America’s only Norwegian newspaper. Her fiction has been published in genre magazines including Clarkesworld, Asimov’s, Strange Horizons, and FLURB. She is a board member of PFM Roller Derby, a volunteer-run recreational roller derby league, where she is known as V. Lucy Raptor.
