Darcy is the Senior Vice President for Safety and Quality at the Washington State Hospital Association. She was the past Chief Nursing Officer and Senior Associate Administrator at Harborview Medical Center (HMC), University of Washington (UW) Medicine in Seattle and the co-director of the UW Medicine Center for Scholarship in Patient Care Safety and Quality. She is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellow Alumnus, an honorary Assistant Clinical Dean at the UW School of Nursing and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Darcy is board-certified by the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center as both a Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and a Nurse Executive.
