Mai Hoang is the Central/Eastern Washington reporter for Crosscut, where she seeks to provide a broader perspective on what is happening east of the Cascades and the region's relationship with the rest of the state. Mai's stories for Crosscut cover a wide array of topics, including agriculture, politics and civic engagement, housing and business. Many of Mai's stories have been published in several Pacific Northwest news outlets. Mai has served as a panelist on KUOW's Week in Review, and is a past president of the Seattle Chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association.
