Megan Burbank is a writer and editor based in Seattle. Before going full-time freelance, she worked as an editor and reporter at The Portland Mercury and The Seattle Times. She specializes in enterprise reporting on reproductive health care access and abortion policy in the absence of Roe v. Wade, which she covers locally for Crosscut and nationally at outlets like NPR and The New Republic. Her work can also be found in The Stranger, Willamette Week, Teen Vogue, and daily papers, NPR affiliates, and alternative newsweeklies across the country.
