In response to community feedback, the Crosscut Festival is shifting most of this year’s in-person events to a virtual format. All sessions originally planned to take place at Seattle University on Saturday, May 7th will now be virtual. The Headliners Gala at MOHAI on Saturday, April 30 and the Keynote event with Nikole Hannah-Jones at Town Hall on Saturday, May 7th will continue in-person.
The 2022 Crosscut Festival will return in a hybrid format, featuring both in-person sessions and streaming online events. At Cascade Public Media, home of Crosscut and KCTS 9, we understand that we are living in a changing landscape for live events and we have adapted our 2022 festival to meet your needs.

At the Crosscut Festival, speakers from across the nation and around the region will join us to consider issues in politics, social justice, the economy, science, the environment, innovation and much more. The festival will include five days of virtual panels and interviews from May 3 - May 7, followed by an exciting keynote talk at Town Hall Seattle.
To ensure the safety of those who attend our in-person sessions, we will require proof of vaccination along with an ID in order to attend. If you are not vaccinated, we welcome you to join us virtually.
All virtual sessions will be free. (Heads up, whatever ticket you buy to the festival will include access to all virtual sessions.) So, if you go with our “Virtual Only” ticket option, you will only have access to our virtual sessions, from May 3 - May 7, free of charge.
The “Saturday Keynote” ticket is $40 and includes general admission to the Saturday keynote event taking place on May 7 at Town Hall Seattle. And, of course, the ticket also includes access to all virtual sessions. This year's Saturday Keynote speaker will be Nikole Hannah-Jones.
Looking to buy one package? The “VIP” ticket is $65 and includes access to the Saturday keynote at Town Hall Seattle, and all virtual sessions. It also includes priority access lines and seating at Town Hall, a selection of keynote speaker books and an invitation to the VIP Reception.
