E. J. Gong was born and raised in Miami, Florida but moved to the Emerald City in the mid-1990s. He lives in Seattle's Madison Valley neighborhood with his wife and two teenage children and a scruffy dog named Jack. He has performed on stage and on TV shows, commercials and a host of forgettable industrial videos. He is a longtime Screen Actor’s Guild member.
