CNN Audio host of “Tug of War” and “One Thing”

David Rind

David Rind is a reporter and podcast producer for CNN Audio who joined CNN in 2021. He hosts/produces One Thing, highlighting the best of CNN reporting, and Tug of War, featuring CNN reporters on the ground in Israel to document the conflict and what it means for the rest of the world. He regularly hosts, writes and produces CNN 5 Things. Rind worked at ABC News for nearly a decade, developing and launching its first daily news podcast, Start Here, which won an Edward R. Murrow Award in 2019. In 2012 he spent a summer as the radio play-by-play announcer for the Brooklyn Cyclones. Rind is a graduate of Seton Hall University and is based in New York City.
